Our client is currently looking for a Bookkeeper to join the team. This role is temp to perm or perm for the right candidate. Client DetailsThe client is a large, multimillion dollar Consumer Goods Wholesale Distributor located in Hackensack, NJ. This role is based 5 days in office. Description
--- Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
--- Keep management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports; summarizing information; identifying trends.
--- Verify that transactions are recorded in correct reports.
--- Process accounts receivable, make collection calls and administer the accounts payable in a timely mannerProfile
--- 2+ years of bookkeeping experience.
--- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
--- Data entry and good number skills
--- Effective and efficient time management skills.
--- Detail oriented and thorough.
--- Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service.
--- Excellent interpersonal skills with high initiative, flexibility, and team approach to work.
--- Excellent oral and written communication skills
