From our hospitals, rehab centers and occupational health teams to our long-term care centers and at-home care capabilities, our complete spectrum of services will allow you to apply your skills in multiple settings while building your career, all within New Jersey's premier healthcare system.The Manager of Patient Accounting Training & Compliance performs duties which guide the management and execution of training new Revenue Operations team members as well as the continuing education of existing team members across the Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH) network. This includes managing the design, delivery and evaluation of Revenue Operations Education for both staff and management to support the goals of HMH. Also oversees all aspects of EPIC training for the ADT, Cadence, Prelude, and Hospital Billing applications.A day in the life of a Manager of Patient Accounting Training & Compliance at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:Ensures the implementation of and compliance with Revenue Operations and Hospital Corporate Compliance initiatives. Manages all Revenue Operations Training development and implementation. Maintains current operations, policies and procedures for Patient Financial Services. Responsible for conducting EPIC and Operational Training throughout HMH. Support and provide consultative support to management as it relates to workflows, policies and procedures, Hospital Services and Payer Plans/Financial Class mappings and revisions of policies when necessary to ensure they are aligned across Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH) Network. Provide support to IT Analysts, external consultants and EPIC Analysts as it relates to operational processes to ensure EPIC Builds throughout the Network are correct. Ensure Regulatory and State Mandates are interpreted correctly at multiple facilities. Ensures yearly evaluation and updates of all policies and procedures for Patient Financial Services. Develops and maintains formal Revenue Operations Training Program for new and existing employees. Performs on-going Patient Financial Services Quality Assurance audits to access quality of work performed and determine training needs. Develops and designs educational offerings based on needs assessments and/or organizational/departmental requirements, the educational process, and principles of adult education. Manages the Coordination of all Patient Financial Services new employee training, ensuring consistency and appropriate detail. Functions as a liaison between information system and internal system groups to ensure system changes are incorporated into policies and procedures. Collects various payer bulletins and distributes them to the appropriate staff member(s) and the Director of Corporate Compliance as well as keeping a copy for record. Schedules monthly sessions to review payer bulletins with appropriate personnel to ensure uniformity or single interpretation. Other duties and/or projects as assigned. Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Bachelor's degree in business administration, education, or healthcare administration. Minimum of 5+ years in corporate compliance, employee education/training and managed care. Computer proficiency. EPIC Training Courses: TED 100, TED 200, and TED 300. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms. Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: Master's degree in adult and continuing education, organizational development and training, psychology or related field. Licenses and Certifications Required:Complete certification of all EPIC Revenue Operations Courses for ADT, Cadence, Prelude, and Hospital Billing within 12 months.
