JOB DESCRIPTIONTitle: Senior Accountant - Non-ProfitReports to: Director of AccountingFLSA: ExemptJob Responsibilities:Supports the financial reporting in connection with OMB and Agency guidelines for all Head Start & grant programsPrepare and submit expenditure reports to funding authorityPrepare various reports including but not limited to:Budget vs. ActualCash receipts journalPayroll journals and registersGeneral Ledger transactionsBenefit analysisAnalyze and prepare journal entries & analyze General Ledger ActivityIn-Kind/Non-Federal Share analysisAssist in audit & special projectsPrepares payroll allocationsPrepares budgets for applications and contractsCloses out grantsAssigns account numbers to purchase ordersPrepare & update the Grant ListWork with program staff as necessaryQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
