This is a unique opportunity to bring your financial expertise to a dynamic, fast-paced environment in the finance industry. The successful candidate will be a strategic individual with 5-10 years of managerial accounting and financial management experience. This role will require the ability to work on tight deadlines, excellent problem-solving skills, and an unwavering commitment to upholding the company's financial integrity.Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate all audit activity and ensure the timely and successful completion of the annual audit process.
• Maintain internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs, program budgets, and actual expenditures.
• Consistently analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; monitor progress and changes and keep senior leadership abreast of the organization's financial status.
• Manage organizational cash flow forecasting by working in partnership with the executive leadership; continuously collaborate with program vice presidents to assess the financial efficacy of program operations and establish finance and administrative systems to support program operations.
• Lead the development and implementation of system conversion and process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of our internal systems and processes.
• Manage and track the performance of invested assets in keeping with policies and investment guidelines.Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field is required. An MBA, CPA, or related certification is highly desirable.
  • 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, financial analysis, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Solid experience coordinating audit activities and managing reporting, budget development and analysis, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll, and accounting for investments.
  • A successful track record in setting priorities; keen analytic, organization and problem-solving skills which support and enable sound decision making.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and unwavering commitment to the organization's mission; a proactive, hands-on strategic thinker who will own the responsibility for finance.
  • Technology savvy with experience selecting and overseeing software installations and managing relationships with software vendors; advanced knowledge of accounting and reporting software.
  • Commitment to recruiting, mentoring, training, and retaining a diverse team; the foresight and ability to delegate accordingly.
