Job Description:

Our law office is currently seeking a qualified applicant to fill the position of Legal Secretary. The Legal Secretary will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations of the law firm, including carrying out administrative services and providing support to the Principal of the firm. The ideal candidate for this position has a strong work ethic, exceptional problem-solving skills and is comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic workplace.Responsibilities will include:--- Complete administrative duties such as answering and directing phone calls and greeting clients--- Coordinate appointments, including all correspondence--- Manage legal documentation and correspondence in strict confidence--- Correspond with clients, other legal counsel and courts--- Assist with lawyer time sheets and billing--- Implement and improve upon administrative processes for more efficient workflowApplicant must possess the following:--- 2+ years' working experience as a legal assistant--- Knowledge of MS Office products such as Word, Outlook and Excel--- Strong telephone and communication skills--- Able to take direction and work independently with little or no supervision--- Highly organized and detail-oriented* Please email your resume and salary requirements.
