Job Description:
Job Description Job Description This position is primarily
responsible for addressing resident service requests. Addition
responsibilities: maintaining and repairing physical structures of
buildings, including electrical and plumbing; repairing/replacing
appliances; and maintaining grounds. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receives written work orders or verbal instructions from supervisor
for completion Cleans internal areas of buildings, including
buffing, dusting, sweeping, and mopping. Maintains the grounds by
picking up trash. Washes windows. Empties trash cans and
consolidates trash for weekly pickup. Must possess basic knowledge
of hand tools. Paints interior and exterior walls and trim. Repairs
parking lot and sidewalks with asphalt, cold patching materials,
and concrete. Operates snow removal equipment to maintain parking
lots and sidewalks. Maintains and repairs buildings' plumbing and
electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts
such as switches and fuses. Repairs or replaces building brick,
stone, and concrete. Maintains and repairs wood parts of buildings.
Replaces worn or damaged parts such as hoses, wiring, and belts, in
machines and equipment such as truck, street sweeper, and riding
mower. Assists other departments with moving furniture, appliances
and unloading and storing supplies If part of on-call rotation,
required to respond to all emergency calls onsite within 30 minutes
of receiving call. Performs other related duties as assigned by
management.
