The position can be based at either our South Hackensack, NJ or Chester, NJ office.Responsibilities:Prepare permits for State and Federal regulatory complianceHydrologic and Hydraulic (H&H) analysis, stormwater design, open- channel flow analysis and should have experience with stormwater management regulationsComplete assignments on a schedule and within the project budgetsAttend project meetings with the clientsPassion for continued learning to keep abreast of the changing State and Federal regulationsDesire to be exposed to a wide variety of engineering challengesStrong attention to detailStrong verbal and written skillsAbility to work independentlyManage time efficientlyExcellent writing skills for preparing reportsSite plan designAdhere to internal standards, policies and proceduresPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:BS in Civil/Environmental EngineeringLicensed Professional Engineer (PE) is required5-10 years of experience in environmental assessment, investigation, and remediationStrong knowledge of AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and GISFamiliarity with NJDEP, ACOE, and NYDEC regulationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDesign of Green Infrastructure BMPs (Best Management Practices) for stormwater managementPrevious work in this discipline is requiredExperience in the following:The candidate should also demonstrate attention to detail, as well as good communication and report writing skills H&H Modeling (HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, HydroCAD, SWMM, or any other H&H program is desirable)We recognize that the best way to provide services of the highest quality is by investing in our employees.
