Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Description: The Engineer shall
provide engineering and technical services to support all
activities associated with the development, testing, and deployment
of a shipboard equipment Cybersecurity System located within Naval
Surface Warfare Center laboratory test sites and also aboard US
Navy ship assets across multiple platforms including DDG, CVN, CG,
LPD and LHD ship classes around the world. Significant travel/OT
associated with this position. Areas of tasking and support shall
include the following: • Testing Support o Develop software and
hardware unit and system tests that demonstrate that requirements
are satisfied. o Provide support for shipboard configuration
testing. • Design Support o Provide input to a software team to
develop requirements and design elements for various System
Software Tools. o Design and implement test tools to support
software development and integration testing. o Assess new and
existing technologies to develop integrated system designs to
interface with new and existing ship equipment control systems. o
Provide design support for drawing packages. Systems Engineering
Process Support • Technical Documentation Development o Provide
lifecycle support documentation required by the NSWCPD Systems
Engineering Process o Provide support for Integrated Logistics
Support (ILS) items. o Develop Interface Control Documentation in
support of Hardware Design, Development and testing. Requirements:
Engineering Degree
