Job Description Job Description $34–$40/hour | Service Work (Not Production) | Company Van Nations Roof is hiring a Commercial Roofing Service Technician to handle inspections, leak repairs, and small-scope commercial service and repair work (not production roofing) across New Jersey and New York . This is a hands-on role with real autonomy — ideal for an experienced commercial roofer who wants steady, year-round service work , minimal micromanagement, and opportunities to grow as the service team expands . Service territory is focused on NJ & NY commercial properties — no long-term travel. What you’ll be doing Run service calls, inspections, and repairs on commercial roofs Diagnose leaks and perform repairs across EPDM, TPO, PVC, BUR, modified, and coating systems Lead a secondary technician when assigned and manage the job onsite Communicate directly with customers and document work using company tools What we’re looking for Roofing experience (low-slope preferred) Comfortable working independently Strong troubleshooting and communication skills Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Willing to use company software (training provided) Nice to have: 5 years experience of roofing experience Bilingual (English/Spanish) Requirements (Service & Repair Focused) Commercial roofing experience focused on service, repairs, and leak investigation Ability to work independently and manage service calls from start to finish Experience diagnosing leaks and performing small-scope commercial roof repairs Willingness to lead a secondary technician when assigned Strong communication skills with customers and coworkers Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for photos, time entry, and reporting Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record Ability to follow jobsite safety and OSHA requirements Authorized to work in the U.S. What we offer $34–$40/hour , based on experience Company van, phone, and computer Steady, year-round service work Medical, dental, and vision insurance Accident & disability coverage 401(k) with employer match Paid OSHA training and manufacturer certifications Nations Roof is one of the largest commercial roofing contractors in the U.S., providing inspections, maintenance, repairs, and large-scale roofing solutions nationwide.
