We service the Pocono and Lehigh valley and eastern PA, Northern NJ and the 5 boroughs of NY. The pay range, of the position, varies depending on your skill level and prior experience. You may start a little lower and move up as we see what you are capable of. We are looking for a Refrigeration Technician within a 45-mile radius of our Effort PA shop location. Take ownership of your future and grow us. Duties Travel from site to site to service and maintain our customers Refrigeration & cooking equipment. Self motivate and communication are key. Repairing/replacing commercial kitchen appliances Communicating issues, diagnostics, parts and pricing. Keeping your vehicle clean inside and out Getting to your jobs within your scheduled time frame Ordering parts and providing customers with estimates for repair or replacement when necessary. Ability to read and identify system components. Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the Refrigeration Cycle. Perform preventive maintenance inspections and procedures; maintain the workplace (including the service van) in a neat, clean, and safe condition. Work and drive safely, using appropriate safety gear and techniques. Project a professional image to associates and customers. Requirements Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician Ability to travel Must have or acquire own hand tools Meet all physical demands of the position Must possess the ability to communicate with customers, management and coworkers effectively Ability to manage multiple assignments with changing priorities Ability to work on a team or independently Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, including ohmmeters and other relevant equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. A current driver’s license with a clean Driver Record with no pending or prior DUI charges is a must. Agreement to a background check Prior experience.
