Job Description:
As a CNC Machinist you will be responsible for working together
with the team to manufacture low to medium quantity surgical
instruments using CNC Mills, Lathes, and Wire EDM machines. The
opportunities range from learning on conversational mills and
lathes all the way to programming and operating high-end automated
5-Axis milling machines. Openings available on 1st and 2nd Shift.
1st Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00am to 4:30pm 2nd Shift: Monday -
Friday 3:00pm to 12:00am (15% shift differential) $3,000 Signing
Bonus We currently operate state-of-the-art: Multi-axis Mills
Multi-axis Turning Centers Swiss Lathes WEDM and SEDM What you’ll
do CNC Machining: Efficiently operate a lathe, swiss lathe, wire
EDM, 3-Axis mill, and/or 5-Axis mill to machine parts. CNC Setup
and Operation: Follow a setup sheet or look at a program on CAM and
set up a job. Evaluate a part and come up with a plan to
effectively make it Experience with HAAS, TRAK, or Heidenhain is a
plus. CNC Programming: Program 5-Axis milling machines with CAM
software such as Fusion 360 Inspecting your work and adjusting tool
and machine offsets to make sure the parts are correct. Cutting
tool and toolpath knowledge: You may be given the opportunity to
push the limits of current cutting tool technology. What you need
to thrive in this role High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Prior
experience operating and setting up CNC Mills or Lathes (CNC lathe,
3-Axis mill, and/or 5-Axis mill). CNC Programming experience
preferred (BUT NOT NECESSARY). Ability to read and understand
blueprints including GD&T tolerancing with profile tolerancing
preferred. Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to
management direction. Safety and Security - Observes safety and
security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses
equipment and materials properly. Strong attention to detail,
ability to multi-task, ability to anticipate, think ahead and plan.
