geo-political trends. What does this role look like? This position
is an exciting opportunity for you to be a part of new program
efforts in the Strategic and Missile Defense line of business. You
will serve as a Lead for Subcontract Management Teams (SCMT) for
critical subcontractor efforts within the SMD Line of Business. In
this role you will have the following daily key responsibilities: •
Drive all aspects of major subcontract execution (cost, schedule,
technical, quality) and full integration of the subcontract work
scope within the program, e.g. proposals, negotiations, contract
execution, etc. • Seamless integration of Subcontracts,
Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Planning organizations. • Work
closely with the Subcontract Manager (SCM) and SCA teams. • Serve
as the main focal point to the subcontractor and accountable both
to the Program Manager and Supply Chain leadership • As the
Lockheed Martin and Program Management interface with the supplier,
you will need to be able to critically analyze a diverse set of
issues, and communicate effectively to Customer, LM, and Supplier
executive leadership. • Frequent travel to major subcontractor
sites is anticipated (~25%). This position does not support
teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our
Lockheed Martin Space facility in King of Prussia, PA , and be
expected to work in the office. To be effective, you will need to
possess these basic qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree from an
accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education, •
10 years of relevant Supply Chain Management experience (i.e…
Procurement, Subcontract Administration, Subcontract Management,
Program Management, Negotiation, proposal, and/or Category
Management) • Relevant experience in the support of both
Development and Production prime contracts including proposal
submittals; • Experience in establishing scope of work and writing
technical or non-technical documentation (e.g. Specifications,
Statements of Work, Contracts/Subcontracts, Supplier Deliverables);
• Experience in supporting all subcontract types (cost
reimbursable, T&M, fixed price), negotiations, terms and
conditions, incentive arrangements, and order placement; • Working
knowledge of FAR ; • Control Account Management and EVM experience;
• Ability to travel up to ~25%; • You will need to be a US Citizen,
and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD TOP SECRET clearance,
to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a
drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility
requirements for access to classified information. • Please note:
No clearance is required to apply, BUT an Interim TS is needed
prior to start. To be effective, ideally, you should also have: •
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college ideally in a technical
discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with
professional experience and specialized training; • 10 years of
subcontract program management experience; • Familiarity with data
analytics and associated tools such as Tableau or equivalent; •
Program Management training; • Experience transitioning products
from development to production; • Familiar with supplier quality
and related evaluation tools; • Possess effective
relationship-building skills with peers, leadership and suppliers •
You bring positivity and enthusiasm to every project you touch. In
addition to the work, you love being part of a team and working
collaboratively through the process. • Demonstrated exceptional
strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and
presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all
levels of peers, suppliers, and stakeholders, as well as program

Ability to work remotely Onsite Full-time: The work associated with
this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed
Martin facility. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports
a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional
flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40
hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time
away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off
benefits. Security Clearance Information This position requires a
government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for
consideration. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this
position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most
major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland,
Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is
$144,600 - $255,070. For states not referenced above, the salary
range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work
location. Please note that the salary information is a general
guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not
limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's
work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market
and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits
