Job Description:
- Schedule alcohol service employees for every function Prepare
alcohol orders entire day for dining and room service. Manage
alcohol beverage stock in service and lobby bar as required. Ensure
every alcoholic beverage ordered is paid. Job Requirements:
- Provide feedback, coaching, support, and opportunities for
development, complete performance appraisals, take corrective
action when appropriate, and participate in hiring decisions
- Retrain Beverage staff and evaluate performance during specific
intervals
- Assure compliance to regulatory, industry, and company
standards
- Build a world-class sourcing and business partner strategy at
the country, vendor and factory level to drive optimal value
- Understand financials of business and creatively influences
balancing cost, quality and efficiency to improve sales and
profitability, and drive best value
- Develop functional/technical skills of the sanitation and
operations teams
- Optimize efficiency within the supply chain by aligning with
best partners
- Maximize guest satisfaction and service
- Manage the sanitation program and Master Sanitation Schedule to
ensure the equipment and facilities meet required levels of
microbiological cleanliness to assure food safety, quality, and
regulatory compliance
- Complete financial paperwork of banquet bars and make cash
deposits.
- Supervise beverage staff working in bars, lounges
- Ensure work areas are clean and sanitized commensurate to
Health Department standards
- Schedule, train and evaluate beverage staff appearance and
guest service follows service standards.
- Ensure smooth functioning of beverage department everyday.
- Improve and maintain beverage sales and profitability
- Provide good guest service and reduce guest complaints.
- Maintain compliance with beverage staff and cost budgets
- Control bar processes including par levels, finances and
beverage menu selection.
- Coordinate with staff and their work schedules
- Supervise, manage and develop management team and non-exempt
staff
- Assess vendor and factory capabilities to develop a sourcing
strategy that delivers on strategic opportunities and Target's
financial plans
- Develop the operating budget and capital spending program for
the coming year
- Perform verification audits to ensure the programs are
working
- Work with upper management to maximize guest satisfaction and
service
- Maintaining very high end beverage programs in both the
restaurant and catering operations, as well as managing all
financials to the budget
- Maintain a positive working relationship with staff, venue
client and production team
- Ensure that all associates work in compliance with Collective
Bargaining Agreement and develop a cohesive, enriching and focused
work environment
- Optimizing cleaning efforts, coordinating with Operations and
Maintenance, and strategically scheduling sanitation
activities
- Plan and conduct bench top, pilot, and possibly beverage
trials
