Job Description:

Our client is currently seeking a Associate Project Manager, Engineering for an 18 month + contract.Description/Comment: Assist in management of multiple engineering projects; prioritize tasks and assign team members to ensure that the team's overall resources are used effectively and that project deadlines are met. Evaluate and authorize changes that significantly impact the scope, budget, or timeline of a project. Lead engineering projects; monitor progress and performance against the project plan; identify and resolve operational problems and minimize delays. Manage ongoing relationships with external contractors so that the organization receives satisfactory standards of service. This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgement in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision. Roles typically require a university degree or an extensive amount of practical knowledge gained through experience. Job requires an understanding and application of procedures and concepts of own discipline. The job requires attention to detail in making evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual information. This job typically requires a degree or equivalent and a minimum of 2 or more years experience.Additional Job Details: ---Responsible to provide input of workstream business objective outlined in the Joint Replacement Project Charters. ---Build and track overall project timeline; Monitor and mitigate overall project risks ---Provide input for CER creation and submission; Track and manage workstream project expenses ---Create a resource plan; Manage all project resource and prioritize tasks. ---Responsible and accountable for delivery of project Gantt chart commitments within time, resource and budget constraints ---Responsible and accountable for OnePPM inputs and reports ---Set up weekly meetings with vendors, track meeting minutes and actions for individual processes ---Identify alternative solutions and approaches to overcoming project issues/risks while proactively communicating meaningful project measurements and KPIs per expectations
