Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Locum Hospitalist Nocturnist physician for a long-term assignment at our Academic Medical Center in North East, NJ! The ideal candidate will be a board-certified physician with experience in inpatient care! 7 days on / 7 days off Hours: (7pm-7am). Ongoing assignment for Admissions and Floor Rounding. Working with the Rapid Response Team. Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive inpatient care, including diagnosis and treatment of illnesses, injuries, and other medical conditions Perform physical examinations and order appropriate laboratory tests Monitor and manage patient care plans, ensuring they are up to date Consult with other healthcare professionals regarding patient care Document all patient information accurately within the electronic medical record system Requirements: Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice Current state medical license At least 3 years of experience as a Hospitalist physician Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Proficient in the use of EMR systems Competitive 1099 Pay, Paid Lodging, Rental Car or Mileage Reimbursement, and Paid Malpractice all offered!
