Job Description:
Schedule Notes: UNIT: Surgical, Trauma, Neuro Stepdown &
Neurocritical Care Unit 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM. 36 HOURS. 13 Weeks with
opportunity for extension. Every other weekend required. Holidays
Required. No-On Call. -
Job Summary: Under general supervision, demonstrates ability to
handle nursing problems and, in general, an expanded group of
nursing practices. Performs nursing intervention across a variety
of nursing situations. Identifies patient problems prior to
explicit changes in patient-specific data collection (such as vital
signs).
Education Requirement:
Current licensure by the New Jersey State Board of Nursing -
Required. BSN - Preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Minimum 1 year of previous experience in acute setting. Must have
experience with vents & trached patients. Must have telemetry
experience.
ACLS & BLS required. Must be willing to float as needed.
