Job Description:
Duties:
Job Summary: Under general supervision, demonstrates ability to
handle nursing problems and, in general, an expanded group of
nursing practices. Performs nursing intervention across a variety
of nursing situations. Identifies patient problems prior to
explicit changes in patient-specific data collection (such as vital
signs).
Skills:
UNIT: Surgical, Trauma, Neuro Stepdown & Neurocritical Care
Unit
Must have 1 year of Stepdown. Telemetry, experience with vents &
trached patients.
BLS-AHA & ACLS-AHA required.
Experience with some infusions (Amiodarone, Cardizem, Cardene).
Neurological assessments is a plus!
Must be willing to float as needed**
RN must be willing and able to treat and manage patients on unit
with a variety of conditions (including but not limited to flu,
Covid, heart issues, lung issues,etc).
