Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Hackensack, New Jersey.Job Description & Requirements

• Employment Type: TravelJob Summary:The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care.-Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient's needs.-Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.-Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments.-Initiates assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.-Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.-Manages care of patients.-Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.-Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.-Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.-Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.-Float to units within competency as required.-Cardiac Vascular & Post Surgical Stepdown Unit. Minimum 2 years of RN experience in the ICU & S/D required, 3-5+ years highly preferred. Must have ICU and S/D experience at the bedside within the past six months. Experience and competent in working with pulmonary patients, vents, trachs, hanging drips, incubation, etc. COVID ICU unit. RN must be willing and able to treat and manage patients on unit with a variety of conditions (including but not limited to flu, Covid, heart issues, lung issues,etc).Must be willing to float or downgrade as needed. ACLs BLS - AHA NIHSS RN License 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM. Every Other Weekend, Holidays required, No On Call. Minimum 2 years of RN experience in the ICU & S/D required, 3-5+ years highly preferred. Must have ICU and S/D experience at the bedside within the past six months. Experience and competent in working with pulmonary patients, vents, trachs, hanging drips, incubation, etc. COVID ICU unit.
