Job SummaryHackensack Meridian Health - 30 Prospect Avenue is seeking a skilled Traveling Registered Nurse to join our team. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care.Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.
• Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.
• Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care for patients assigned through initial and ongoing assessments.
• Initiate assessments based on patient problems or needs, physician medical diagnoses, and functional health frameworks.
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions.
• Manage patient care.
• Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.
• Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
• Provide patient-centered care in alignment with professional nursing practice models.Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years prior RN experience working in a MS/Tele unit in a major acute care hospital setting required.
  • Must have a strong MS/Tele background.
  • Must have Cardiac experience.
  • APN on the unit and cardiac-based with drips.
