A state-of-the-art Surgery Center actively seeks a Nurse Director to join their accomplished team. Become a resourceful team leader in an outpatient setting, overseeing all nursing operations and a team of committed clinicians.
The Ambulatory Surgery Center Nurse Director will oversee the surgical facility, focused on Orthopaedic cases. The center has five Operating Rooms and primarily sees Hip Replacement, Knee Replacement, and Shoulder Replacement surgeries. The esteemed facility is active with over 10,000 cases a year. The Ambulatory Surgery Center Nurse Director will enjoy working in a supportive environment with over 35 dedicated full-time employees. The Director of Nursing will work closely with the Registered Nurses, Surgical Technicians, Secretaries, and Non-clinical Staff. This role will report to the Administrator.
The Ambulatory Surgery Center Nurse Director will be heavily involved in the day-to-day management and the long-term planning and goals of the outpatient surgical facility. The clinical and administrative goals will heavily rely on this individual. This includes daily OR scheduling, maintenance of the infection control program, and monthly meetings. They will oversee all performance-enhancing tasks like quality assessments, regulatory compliance, staff credentialing, inventory control, and cost containment. Individuals with Circulating experience will earn quick interviews!
