Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: MRI Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a MRI technologist for a 13-week contract assignment at Prestigious Hospital in Bergen County, NJ. Job Function: - Day Shift and Evening Shift. - 4x10: 1PM-11:30PM. - Position patient and adjust equipment to obtain images as requested by the physician - Set up, operate, and maintain x-ray equipment according to policy and procedure - Ability to explain procedures to patients - Minimize radiation to patient and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques Job Requirements: - 2 years of MRI Technologist experience. - MUST have AART Certification. - Minimum Education/Graduate of an AMA/J.C.E.R.T. approved program in Radiologic Technology. - NY State IV Certification. - BLS Certification. - Experience with Epic EMR preferred.
