Acute Care for a local contract nursing job in Hackensack, New
Jersey. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Acute Care
Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12
hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is
currently seeking an Emergency Room Nurse for a contract assignment
at a Prestigious Hospital in Hackensack, NJ. Job Function: Day
Shift and Night Shift. 3x12. Responsible for managing the care of
adult and/or pediatric patients experiencing life-threatening
problems requiring complex assessment, high intensity therapies,
and interventions. Provide support, education and comfort to
patients and their families during their emergency room experience.
Prepare patients for surgery or diagnostic testing. Provide IV
insertion, intubation, medicine administration, blood drawing, and
many other medical procedures. Job Requirements: Graduate from an
accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
Current RN license for the state of New Jersey. 2 years of
Emergency Room RN experience is required. BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC
certifications from the American Heart Association are required.
