Job Description Job Description Job Title: X-Ray Technologist – Generalist Location - Cortlandt Manor, NY Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: X-Ray (Generalist) Assignment Type: Contract Job Summary The X-Ray Technologist (Generalist) is responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic examinations for outpatient, inpatient, emergency department, and operating room patients. This role supports multiple clinical locations and requires proficiency with both fixed and portable imaging equipment while maintaining high standards of patient care and image quality. Shift & Schedule Schedule: Day Shift Hours: 5 × 7.5-hour shifts Typical Shift Time: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Days: Monday through Friday Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations in accordance with established protocols Provide imaging services for outpatient, inpatient, emergency, and surgical settings Operate fixed and portable X-ray equipment, including OR and C-Arm systems Ensure accurate patient positioning and radiation safety practices Maintain image quality and proper documentation for diagnostic interpretation Assist with fluoroscopic procedures as required Support imaging services across multiple assigned locations Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and clinical staff Maintain compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards Required Qualifications Graduate of an AMA-accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent Active New York State licensure in Radiologic Technology ARRT certification and registration in Radiography Required Experience & Skills Experience with fixed and portable X-ray units Experience supporting operating room imaging , including C-Arm Knowledge of standard radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures Strong understanding of radiation safety and patient positioning Preferred Qualifications Orthopedic imaging experience For more details reach at sthakur@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 732 791 4807 - EXT 4807 .
