Job Description Job Description Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) Location: Hackensack, NJ Assignment Type: Travel / Contract Contract Length: 13 Weeks Schedule: 3x12-Hour Shifts Shift Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Pay Package Estimated Weekly Gross: $2500 Weekly Stipend: $1,469.88 Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to join a high-acuity emergency care team in Hackensack, NJ . The ED RN will provide rapid, high-quality nursing care to patients of all ages presenting with urgent, emergent, and traumatic conditions. This role requires strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced emergency environment. Key Responsibilities Rapid triage and assessment of emergency and trauma patients Prioritize care based on acuity and medical necessity Deliver emergency nursing interventions for medical, trauma, and behavioral health cases Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and emergency treatments Monitor patient condition, vital signs, and cardiac rhythms Assist with codes, trauma activations, and resuscitation efforts Document care accurately and timely in the EMR Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams Follow emergency department protocols and safety standards Required Qualifications Active RN license (NJ or Compact) Minimum 1–2 years of recent ED experience BLS and ACLS required PALS and TNCC preferred For more details reach at ukhan@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 518-862-1204.
