friendly environment. We are looking for a Interventional
Radiologic Technologist to join our team. The pay range for this
role will depend on experience and qualifications. Schedule: Monday
- Friday 8am to 4:30pm Position Summary: The Interventional
Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic and
fluoroscopic procedures; reviews all necessary documentation
related to the procedures and performs related clinical and
administrative duties. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Demonstrated interest in meeting patient needs and assuring patient
satisfaction. Operating knowledge of radiographic/IR equipment to
produce accurate images while maintaining sterile technique.
Assembles sterile trays and assumes scrub duties as necessary.
Performs all diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures by
selecting the correct exposure factors utilizing the assessment of
patient age, pathology and diagnosis to produce technically
accurate digital images to assist the radiologist in diagnosis.
Reviews all necessary documentation to perform diagnostic
procedures. Performs preventative visual and manual inspections for
each radiographic room/equipment assigned ensuring appropriate
maintenance and cleanliness. Performs related clinical and clerical
duties associated with the patient procedure. Assists in the
managing of the radiographic procedures through the coordination of
resources, to facilitate optimal efficiency. Assures that the
procedures performed are in accordance with policies and
procedures. Performs warm up calibration procedures necessary to
ready the x-ray equipment for patient imaging. Assists in the
procurement of all necessary supplies. Informs the supervisor of
any equipment needing repair to ensure prompt service. Contributes
to a positive climate and open communication for a team approach.
Maintains certification and licensure by attending continuing
education classes. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated
ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced, customer
oriented highly professional environment. Ability to establish and
maintain mutually supportive, productive working relationships with
colleagues, staff, and physicians. Proven record of taking
direction professionally from other medical personnel. Demonstrated
ability to learn on the job. Educational Requirements: Associate’s
degree preferred ARRT (RT)(M) and CT State License required 1-3
years clinical experience Competencies: To perform the job

Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time.
Physical demands/Working Conditions: Work is performed in a
radiology imaging outpatient department. Work may require sitting
or standing for long periods of times; also stooping, bending and
stretching for supplies, and files. While performing the duties of
this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit;
use hands to palpate, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms
and talk or hear. Lifting up to 30 pounds may be required. Manual
dexterity and eye-hand coordination sufficient to operate a
keyboard and other office equipment is required. Operating
knowledge of radiographic equipment is mandatory. Contact with
patients, interaction with physicians, and office staff is
constant. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an
individual must be able to perform each essential duty
