About the Role Join a thriving gastroenterology team in the scenic Hudson Valley. We are seeking an experienced and patient-focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide high-quality GI care in a collaborative setting. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations for gastrointestinal conditions and preventive screenings Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Perform outpatient consultations and coordinate hospital-based care as needed Manage pre- and post-procedure care for endoscopic procedures Order and interpret diagnostic studies Prescribe medications and provide patient education Maintain detailed documentation in EMR systems Collaborate closely with gastroenterology physicians for optimal patient outcomes Location Highlights Located in the heart of the Hudson Valley, New Windsor offers small-town charm with convenient access to Manhattan (approximately 55 minutes to the George Washington Bridge). Qualifications Required: Current NP or PA license in New York State DEA certification Minimum 2–3 years of gastroenterology experience Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care Preferred: Experience managing inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, or GI motility disorders Hospital privileges (or willingness to obtain) Bilingual (Spanish preferred) Benefits Compensation & Benefits Salary: $140,000 – $180,000 depending on years of GI experience and credentials Vacation: 2 weeks PTO: 4 weeks 6 federal holidays CME: $1,500 allowance 3 days 401(k) with 6% employer match Life Insurance (one-time annual salary) Health, dental, and vision insurance Malpractice insurance coverage Flexible scheduling options AI-powered scribe support options Collegial and supportive practice environment across 35 locations
