be considered. An opportunity for a Registered Nurse with
perioperative experience in cardiac cases is available in an
operating room setting in Edison, NJ. This contract role offers a
structured Monday through Friday schedule with 8-hour shifts from
7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, plus mandatory on-call duties requiring
availability for patient care support during evenings and weekends.
Location: Edison, NJ is a vibrant township known for its diverse

it a desirable place to live and work. Responsibilities: - Deliver
direct and indirect patient care in the perioperative environment
for neonates through older adults - Collaborate with surgeons,
anesthesiologists, and operating room teams to coordinate patient
care - Guide and support operating room technicians and other
personnel to maintain high standards of professional nursing -
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulations, and quality
standards - Participate in performance improvement programs, unit
meetings, and professional development activities - Serve as a
clinical resource within the operating room setting Qualifications
and Experience: - Current, valid RN license in the state - Active
BLS (AHA) certification at hire and maintenance thereafter - ACLS
and PALS (AHA) certifications required within 30 days of hire and
must be maintained - Minimum of one year perioperative nursing
experience; cardiac surgery experience preferred - Certified Nurse
Operating Room (CNOR) certification is a plus - Bachelor of Science
in Nursing (BSN) preferred - Experience with preoperative and
postoperative patient care Schedule & On-Call Requirements: -
Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 3 PM - Mandatory call shifts: minimum one
weekday night call per week (11 PM - 7 AM), maximum two per week -
Weekend on-call rotation once every five weekends (24 hours each on
Saturday and Sunday) - Immediate response requiredmust be able to
report to facility within 30 minutes upon call-in This contract
position is ideal for RNs seeking to leverage their cardiac
operating room expertise within a supportive hospital environment.
