Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Overview The Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery. The RN will manage high-risk OB patients, assist physicians during deliveries, monitor fetal health, and ensure safe maternal and neonatal outcomes. Shift Details - Shift: Day Shift - Timing: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM - Shift Length: 12 hours - Weekly Hours: 36 hrs/week guaranteed - Weekend/Holiday: Alternating weekends and holidays required - On-Call: Not required Key Responsibilities - Provide nursing care for laboring and postpartum patients - Monitor maternal and fetal status using fetal monitoring systems - Assist with vaginal deliveries and C-sections - Circulate in the Operating Room during C-sections - Provide PACU / recovery care after delivery or surgery Required Qualifications - Active New York State RN License - NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – Advanced - C-EFM Certification (NCC) - AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification - Minimum 2 years' experience in High-Risk Labor & Delivery - Experience with OR circulating C-sections and PACU / recovery care - 3 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
