Job Duties Assists with scheduling, staffing, recruitment and retention. Oversees IDCP meeting and assures timely and accurate electronic transmission of all MDS, Re-entry and Discharge forms. Oversees Fall Reduction Program, and Wound Care Program Oversees specialized ventilator/trach unit and the day to day activities and functions of the unit. Oversees and Assist with Program Improvement Program of the Division. Oversees Case Mix Index Program and MDS Process Oversees IDC wound rounds weekly. Oversees restraint and psychotropic reduction. Reports all findings to D.O.N. or designee and/or the Administrator. Maintains/expands professional expertise through attendance at professional conferences/seminars and through review of professional literature. Customer Service: respect, flexibility, knowledge, confidence, professionalism, pleasant attitude, patience and helpfulness. All responses should be timely, professional, caring, and respectful in accordance with Customer Service Performance expectations Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental, and infection control standards. Assesses gaps in policies and procedures, and create necessary policies and procedures to fulfill these gaps. Understands and adheres to the Medical Center’s Code of Conduct. Familiar with the Medical Center’s Mission, Vision, and Values Statements. Other Job Duties Performs other related duties as required. Education Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Position Qualifications NJ RN license required. AHA BLS certification required. IV Certification preferred. Minimum 3 to 5 years of management experience preferred. Good organizational skills. Good oral and written communication skills. Good interpersonal skills. Speaks, reads and writes English to the extent required by the position.
