Job Description:
We are seeking a Lead Corporate Recruiter, as a newly created
role, to lead the talent acquisition function for our growing
Financial Services Firm. We offer a fun & successful corporate
environment! This position will report to the Managing Partner and
will be responsible for creating recruiting procedures and leading
the recruiting strategy for the firm. This position will provide
networking and brand awareness in an effort to deliver high quality
candidates to meet our growing demand.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
--- Create policies & procedures with recruiting and onboarding
--- Develop a recruiting strategy, including but not limited to
social media, job boards, networking events, local schools, and job
fairs.
--- Compile and format job descriptions; and amend any that require
updating
--- Build trust and communicate cross-functionally with team leads
and stakeholders
--- Source & screen resumes and interview candidates to assess
their qualifications, compensation needs and cultural fit; for
assigned positions
--- Schedule virtual & onsite interviews for hiring managers, send
out email confirmations, reserve meeting rooms and make travel
arrangements (in case needed) for candidates through Outlook
--- Prepare and communicate interview schedule and serves as
primary point of contact for candidates and internal employees
involved in the hiring process
--- Meet/greet candidates and escort to interviews providing a
welcome introduction to the company
--- Provide a "first class" candidate experience to all applicants
coming through the hiring process
--- Collect and aggregate all interview feedback using our
developed Assessment forms
--- Assist in initiating background checks and conducting candidate
reference checks
--- Assist in researching additional sources, industry groups,
websites, and other avenues to source candidates
--- Ensure data integrity by ensuring all necessary information and
paperwork is documented and stored appropriately
--- Prepare benefits/on-boarding packages, set up new hires space
with needed materials and draft organization announcement
--- Schedule on-boarding meetings for new hires
--- Track new hire Integration Process and follow up thoroughly
--- Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle
sensitive information with tact and discretion
--- Assist in preparing talent acquisition reporting
QUALFICIATIONS:
--- Bachelor's Degree preferred
--- Minimum of 4+ years of Recruiting experience in a corporate or
recruiting agency setting
--- Financial Services, Sales or Insurance recruiting experience a
plus but not required
--- Excellent Computer skills (word, Excel, PowerPoint)
--- Able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously, attention
to detail and follow-up skills
--- Excellent communicator; possesses strong written and verbal
communication skills
--- Dependable; Responsible; Motivated
