We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Labor and Employment Attorney to join our team. This is a permanent position that will allow you to use your legal expertise and creativity to make a significant impact on our organization and the clients we serve.Why join us?As a Labor and Employment Attorney, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:1. Providing legal advice and guidance on a variety of labor and employment law issues, including but not limited to wage and hour disputes, workplace discrimination and harassment, employee benefits, and labor relations.2. Representing the company in labor and employment litigation matters before federal and state courts and administrative agencies.3. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating employment contracts, separation agreements, and other employment-related documents.4. Conducting internal investigations related to alleged violations of labor and employment laws and regulations.5. Developing and implementing labor and employment law policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.6. Providing training and education to management and staff on labor and employment law matters.7. Staying abreast of changes in labor and employment laws and regulations and advising the company of any potential impact.Job Details1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.2. Admission to the New Jersey and New York Bar.3. A minimum of 3 years of experience in labor and employment law, with a focus on the private sector.4. Excellent legal research and writing skills.5. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to effectively resolve disputes.6. A thorough understanding of federal and state labor and employment laws and regulations.7. The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.8. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.9.
