Candidates with additional questions or concerns regarding any recruiting communications or Kapitus' recruiting process in general should email recruiting@kapitus.com As a Summer Intern in the Product Department, you will support the standardization of Kapitus's Figma design libraries, ensuring all buttons, icons, colors, and components align with the current brand identity. Once the Figma system is unified, the intern will help translate these assets into Axure, building the first "Kapitus Standard" Axure library to support consistent, scalable UX prototyping. This internship offers hands-on experience in design systems, branding alignment, and UX operations, providing exposure to how enterprise-level design infrastructure is created and maintained. The Product Department is dedicated to enhancing the customer experience through continuous improvements, research, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. We focus on implementing solutions that improve customer engagement, streamline processes, and gather actionable insights. Our team plays a key role in shaping the customer journey and leveraging data to drive better business outcomes. What You'll Do: Audit, standardize, and modernize Kapitus's design libraries across Figma and Axure. Conduct a comprehensive Figma audit to identify duplicates, deprecated elements, and outdated branding assets. Create a standardized Figma library that aligns with the current Kapitus design system and then translate those components into an Axure "Kapitus Standard" library for consistent UX prototyping. Develop a Component Usage Guide outlining conventions for naming, spacing, and branding Produce a before-and-after visual reference deck to showcase the modernization and alignment of Kapitus's design identity. What We Are Looking For: Basic understanding of Figma (using shapes, colors, and components) Curiosity to learn Axure RP and how interactive prototypes are built -Eye for visual consistency- colors, icons, and spacing Attention to detail when organizing or updating design files Willingness to follow structured processes and learn design system basics Comfortable collaborating and communicating with mentors and teammates Eager to learn about UX, branding, and how real-world design teams operate Experience with Canva, Miro, or Adobe XD Prior class project or coursework using Figma Interest in brand design or digital product design Ability to effectively present ideas and insights to various stakeholders. A quick learner with an interest in product development and customer experience. Someone who enjoys working with digital tools and is excited about applying new technologies to real-world projects. A team player with strong communication skills who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional team.
