Job Description:

We are a Mid-Size law firm located in Hackensack, N.J. celebrating our 100 year anniversary and still growing. We are looking for qualified candidates for our commercial real estate department. The ideal candidate has significant transactional experience, including purchase and sale, financing, and strong knowledge of title and survey. The incoming candidate will be responsible for reviewing surveys/titles, preparing ancillary documents, and assisting attorneys with closings.Job Requirements:

• Analyzing real estate survey and title documents
• Assisting the real estate department with commercial real estate transactions
• Coordinating due diligence for commercial & residential real estate transaction
• Prepare other corporate and real estate transactions
• Form new entities for real estate transactions
• Experience in all areas of commercial real estate transactions, including lender-side commercial real estate financing transactions
• Prepare legal documents in support of corporate real estate transactions
• Assisting attorneys with the preparation of transactional real estate closing documents
• Inform as to status of real estate matters and to review and address real estate docket items and other real estate matters of importance or which need attention
• Order and review UCC and tax lien search reports
• Review and draft organizational documents
• Review commercial leases, estoppel certificates and SNDA's; prepare lease abstracts
• Prepare and maintain closing checklists and closing binders
