Job Description Job Description LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Buyer who will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and procuring materials, supplies, and services that support operational needs. This role ensures timely purchasing, cost efficiency, strong vendor performance, and alignment with production or business requirements. Responsibilities: Source, evaluate, and procure materials and supplies based on quality, cost, and delivery requirements. Issue and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and alignment with internal demand forecasts. Review MRP demand and track delivery progress to prevent delays or shortages. Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to support reliable supply, competitive pricing, and performance standards. Resolve invoice discrepancies, order issues, and delivery problems in collaboration with suppliers. Support negotiation of terms, pricing, and contracts when applicable. Monitor inventory levels and adjust ordering strategies to balance cost, availability, and storage considerations. Maintain accurate purchasing documentation-including pricing, product information, and supplier records. Ensure all purchasing data is updated and accessible across relevant systems. Partner with planning, production, finance, and operations teams to align purchasing decisions with organizational needs. Assist with reconciliations, cost analysis, and end-of-month purchasing reviews. Identify opportunities to optimize procurement processes, reduce costs, and strengthen supply chain efficiency. Support new product launches or operational initiatives by expediting materials as required. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred (Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field). At least 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with MRP/ERP or procurement systems. Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage competing priorities.
