We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Superintendent to oversee on-site construction activities and ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, coordinating subcontractors and suppliers, and enforcing quality and safety standards to deliver high-quality construction projects.Client DetailsOur client is a full-service General Contractor/Construction Manager that has been in business for 20 years. • Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities, including scheduling, sequencing, and monitoring progress.
• Oversee the deployment of manpower, equipment, and materials to ensure efficient utilization and timely completion of tasks.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality, adherence to plans, and compliance with safety regulations.
• Lead and motivate on-site personnel, including subcontractors, foremen, and laborers, to ensure productivity and adherence to project goals.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members and provide guidance and support as needed.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to promote teamwork and excellence in performance.
• Enforce safety policies and procedures to promote a safe working environment and prevent accidents and injuries.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and toolbox talks to educate workers on safety best practices and address safety concerns.
• Investigate incidents and near misses, implement corrective actions, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Profile
  • Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Thorough understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and documents.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • OSHA certification and other relevant credentials preferred.Job Offer
