Network Analyst

Position Summary:

Under direction of Information Systems management, provides support for server operating systems, including installation, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting. Focus on Citrix support including Citrix Virtual Apps, Storefront, Citrix AppLayering, FSLogix and Netscaler. Coordinates technical project plans, including implementation schedules and resource estimates, for projects. Provides support for computer system operations. Provides support for technicians and other staff, including the handling of more advanced troubleshooting and analysis.

Qualifications & Education
Education
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent field of study, or relevant equivalent work-related education/experience.
Experience
Four to six years' experience with: server and desktop operating systems, server local and wide area networks, database management systems. Experience as a Citrix engineer/architect with responsibilities including roadmap design, assessments, architecture, planning, implementation, and upgrades/migrations of Citrix solutions. Experience with thin client devices such as Dell Wyse, iGel and Chromebook. Possess a detailed understanding of architectural dependencies of Citrix technologies. Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows Server (2016 and 2019), Windows Active Directory, and Windows PowerShell. Must be knowledgeable and have exposure to O365, cloud hybrid environments, endpoint security products, Cisco Blade Servers, Pure Storage, and VMware vSphere.

Preferred Technical Certifications: Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Citrix Certified Professional or Citrix Certified Expert (Virtualization, Networking or Mobility)

Competencies
Designs, develops, and implements system improvements as necessary to maintain maximum utilization. Establishes and maintains complete and detailed system and maintenance documentation. Acts as a liaison with computer vendors as required by the Information Systems management. Provides regular status reports to Information Systems management. Provides on-call coverage on a scheduled basis, in emergency situations and when requested by the department management. Remains abreast of current and emerging technologies in the field of information systems. Complies with all departments and institutional policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.

* Technology Group Analyst Additional Responsibilities Designs, develops and implements network infrastructure and computer server architecture, utilizing recognized industry standards and a Best Practices approach. Develops Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans for core infrastructure. Performs server, and operating system hardware and software installation, validation, and configuration. Develops maintenance and monitoring procedures for technology installations. Documents same and provides instruction for transition to the Operations Group or other groups as indicated.

Schedule: 8:00 P.M.-4:30 P.M.
