Job Description:

We are looking for an Electrician to work for a high-volume manufacturing company.

You should have experience performing all phases of electrical and instrumentation control maintenance in a manufacturing setting.

- Manage the installment and repairs of facility electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of commercial and industrial machinery

- Manage the assembly and testing of motor control devices, control panels, programmable controllers, solenoids, and other electrical equipment and components

- Diagnoses of electrical or mechanical malfunction or failure of operational equipment and determines root cause and corrective measures

- Follow all site related and electrical safety policies and participate in weekly safety meetings

- May be required to work in confined, restricted and hot areas

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

- Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes

- Conducts preventative and maintenance programs and keeps maintenance records

- Installs repairs or replaces AC/DC motors and drives, transformers, motors, starters, relays, and hydraulic and gas electrical controls

- Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues

- Use specialized tools and equipment to test electrical systems and identify problems

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including wiring, lighting, and control systems
