Kane Partners is looking for a skilled and dedicated Maintenance

production environment. In this role, you'll ensure the smooth
operation of our paper converting production machines by performing
crucial maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. If you're

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance activities that meet or exceed manufacturer
standards for quality and reliability, ensuring optimal machine
performance.
- Keep manufacturer warranties intact by following proper
safeguards and guidelines.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and replace components to maintain machine
functionality.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and thorough cleaning of
machines and plant systems.
- Utilize electrical measuring tools (voltmeters, ammeters, etc.)
to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues.
- Fabricate equipment as needed, adhering to operational needs.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to carry out
required maintenance.
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of electrical safety protocols and
protection devices (fuses, circuit breakers, motor protection,
etc.).
- Ensure a safe work environment using PPE, Lockout/Tagout, and
First Aid procedures.
- Diagnose and repair single-phase and three-phase motors,
including specialized systems like servo motors.
- Perform basic repairs on DC and AC control systems (pushbutton
stations, encoders, limit switches, etc.).
- Maintain plant support systems such as air compressors, fans,
heat, and air systems.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe, including the parts
room and compressor rooms.
- Remove unnecessary debris or parts from the production area to
maintain an efficient work environment.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards, and
effectively communicate safety protocols.
- Be available for on-call duties as scheduled and respond to any
maintenance emergencies or concerns.
- Assist in identifying operator-related actions that could impact
maintenance efficiency or production downtime.
- Maintain physical stamina by standing and walking for extended
periods and lifting up to 70 lbs when needed.
What You'll Need:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Hands-on experience with electrical systems, including batteries,
DC circuits, transformers, and AC circuits.
- Proficiency in using electrical measuring instruments like
voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters.
- Expert knowledge of electrical safety protocols and protection
devices.
- Strong understanding of single-phase and three-phase motor
operations and troubleshooting.
- Ability to perform basic repairs on electrical control systems
and machinery.
- Knowledge of plant systems such as heating, air, and air
compressors.
- A team player with excellent communication skills and a keen eye
for detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a 24/7 production environment and
respond to on-call requests.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods.
- Ability to lift 35 lbs frequently, and up to 70 lbs
occasionally.
