Business Development for the North America region is a critical and
senior leadership position within Kantar Profiles division,
reporting directly to our Executive Managing Director for the
Profiles division in the Americas. This role involves overseeing
and driving of all new business sales activities and client
renewals within the United States.This position requires a sales
leader who can champion sales excellence, empower a successful
team, nurture robust client relationships, and navigate the
complexities of a diverse and competitive market.The RoleThe VP of
Business Development is responsible for developing and implementing
the sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets within the
US market for Kantar Profiles division. This role primarily focuses
on leading a sales team dedicated to selling quantitative research
solutions from our proprietary assets to new enterprise
clients.This position requires outstanding leadership, critical
thinking, and a deep understanding of the dynamics of the US
Enterprise market. The role holder will lead and motivate/inspire a
successful sales team, implement best practices in sales processes
and drive for performance.What You'll Do!
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop a comprehensive sales
strategy aligned with Kantar Profiles' divisional business
objectives. This includes market analysis, refining sales
messaging, target segment identification, and sales
forecasting.
- Revenue Growth: Setting revenue targets and lead the sales team
in achieving and exceeding these goals. Monitor sales performance,
pipeline, and critical metrics to ensure targets are met.
- Team Leadership: Build, develop, and lead a highly skilled and
motivated sales team. Provide coaching, mentorship, and guidance to
help team members achieve their individual and team goals.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong
relationships with key clients and team members. Ensure client
satisfaction and retention through exceptional service and
support.
- Sales Process Improvement: Continuously assess and refine sales
processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Forecasting and Reporting: Provide regular and accurate sales
forecasts, reports, and insights to senior leadership. Use
data-driven insights to make informed decisions.
- Compliance and Ethics: Ensure that all sales activities are
conducted in compliance with ethical standards, including industry
regulations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other
divisions within Kantar, in addition with wider teams such as
marketing, product, and client success, to ensure a seamless client
experience and alignment with divisional goals.
- Market Trends and Competitor Analysis: Stay updated on industry
trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to inform
strategic decisions.What You'll Bring
- Experience in a senior sales leadership/management role,
preferably in marketing research / panel / data collection.
- Experience selling to Enterprise Clients.
- Deep knowledge of the US market and industry trends.
- Consistent track record of meeting and exceeding team sales
targets.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation
abilities.
- Proficiency in sales analytics and CRM tools.
- Critical thinking with the ability to translate strategies into

- Unlimited PTO The salary range for this role is $115,000 -
$190,000 plus sales incentive plan. Your final base salary will be
settled based on several factors which may include but are not
limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education
